Working Together
for Health Equity
Our mission is to improve the translation of research findings and innovations into public health practice by offering free, tailored research support services accessible to community-based public health organizations.
"Our goal is to support and empower local public health organizations in stewarding research and evidence-based practice efforts that promote health equity and foster the health of their communities. We want to help organizations that do not have a 'research department' to be able to apply research strategies and findings that support their mission. We offer a bridge to help bolster local health organizations in the process of translating research evidence into practice so that individuals, organizations, and communities can work together to improve health outcomes."
